Create A New User
User profiles are created for each individual user in Ryskview. The steps to create one are as follows. Navigate to the Users page from the menu bar on the left column. In the top left corner of the page, select the ‘Add New User’ button. This will bring you to the Create User Account page. There are three tabs on the Create User Account Page. The first tab holds information for the user, the second tabs handles permissions for the user in Ryskview, and the last tab manages preferences for the visible tiles the user can see on their dashboard. Populate the following fields with the user’s information:
- First Name – First name of the user
- Last Name – Last name of the user
- Email – Email address for the user
- Phone – Primary contact number for the user
- PKI Certificate -Certificate of Authentication for the user. This field does not need to be modified when creating an account
- Notes – Additional commentary about the user
- PKI DN – Subject line from the user’s certificate.
- Supervisor – A dropdown menu containing a list of the user’s in Ryskview. Select one as the user’s supervisor
- Primary Office – A dropdown of the Program Offices in Ryskview. Select one as the user’s Primary Program Office
Navigate to the second tab on the page, the permissions tab. Under the permissions area, select the level dropdown menu located in the permission box. This dropdown menu contains the type of permission a user can have in Ryskview. You can give a user permission to a program office as a program administrator, permission to a System as a system administrator, permission to all the program offices in Ryskview as a global program administrator, as well as a number of different permission options. The second dropdown in the permission box will populate depending on the choice in the first dropdown menu. To add a new permission the user profile select the ‘Add New Permission’ button underneath the permission boxes.
Navigate to the last tab, the preference tab on the create user account page. The are a list of tiles and reports that load on the Dashboard and Reports page for the user. Selecting/deselecting the checkboxes will determine which tiles and reports are visible/hidden on the pages, respectively. Once complete, select the Save button in the top right corner. The new user account has been created.
