User Profile

Users can access their user profile by clicking the pencil icon next to their name on the menu bar. In the user profile, there are three tabs.

Profile Details

The user can update Phone Number and Notes section. The other information displayed can only be changed by the Ryskview System Administrator.

Permissions

In this tab, the user can view Roles, Groups, and Permissions.

Roles

These are explicitly assigned Roles (SA, ISSO, CIO, etc) to that individual user. If a user is part of a Group that is assigned a Role, then it will not be displayed here, even though the user will see individual and group Role data in the Dashboards in Ryskview.

Groups

The user can see all the Groups which he/she is a member. If the user should not be a part of a Group or notices that the membership is incorrect, then user should notify Ryskview System Admin to get it corrected.

Permissions

This shows the explicit access level of the user to specific objects (Program Office, System, or Asset). A user who is a member of a Group will inherit the permissions of the Group.

A user must have permission to an object in order to be assigned a Role to that particular object. It is possible that a user may have permissions to an object, but not have a Role in it.

  • Program Administrator – Access to all objects within a particular Program Office
  • System Administrator – Access to all objects within a particular System
  • Program Reviewer – Read-only access to all objects within a particular Program Office. Cannot be assigned a Role in specified Program Office.
  • System Reviewer – Read-only access to all objects within a particular System. Cannot be assigned a Role in specified System.
  • Asset Manager – Access to delete Assets and move Assets between different Systems, including the Unknown Assets System.
  • Global Reviewer – Read-only access to all objects within Ryskview application. Cannot be assigned a Role.
  • Global Administrator – Access to all objects within Ryskview application. Global Admin includes Asset Manager and Application Manager.
  • Application Manager – Access to administrative Ryskview functions, configurations, and settings.
